PORTFOLIO: Events
Extensive experience in planning various events such as informal meetings, international conferences, trade shows, trade missions, art exhibits, and large extravagant galas. One such event I coordinated received international recognition.
- AMC Conference
- Developed and launched a 3-day annual manufacturing conference for owners and upper level management of small and medium sized companies to learn about the latest manufacturing techniques, trends, and issues that effect manufacturing. The first conference was hosted in San Antonio.
- Consular Forum
- Since, 1952 the Houston Junior Chamber has organized Houston's official celebration of its consular corps and the diplomatic and trade ties they provide between Houston and the rest of the world. This celebration, known collectively as the Consular Forum consists of a series of business, cultural, educational, and diplomatic events held throughout the year. It culminates in an annual white tie and diplomatic gala.
- Trade Mission to Thailand
- Organized as part of the Consular Forum for the purpose of securing top-level government and corporate leader participation in the annual business conference. This delegation consisted of Houston business and city council leaders, representatives from the Greater Houston Partnership, and senior members of the Consular Forum committee.
- Art Exhibit
- This event was held concurrently in two locations and was one of the largest exhibits of Thai art in Houston. It was part of a series of cultural events organized during the Consular Forum and was completely underwritten.
